Instant Happiness Card of the Day
9 of Spades: You are here for a reason; you have a purpose
The Universe is a complex, dynamic system, and everything in it plays a crucial part (including you). You may not know consciously what your part is, but you definitely have one. Every human being has unique gifts to give to the world regardless of whether they know this fact or not. You can get clues about what your purpose is by discovering what you love doing, then doing that. You don’t need to figure out what it is. Just relax and trust that it will emerge as you get on with the adventure of your life. Isn’t it good to know that you’re here for a reason?
Financial Detox Card of the Day
2 of Diamonds: The life you desire is closer than you think
Some people don’t think they can have what they want. But the life you desire is closer than you think, so clarify your wants and needs. Do you want to retire early? Find out how much you’ll need in your pension fund to do it. Do you want to live off passive income? Calculate your monthly expenses to determine how much you’ll need to generate. People are often surprised to discover these dreams are closer than expected. As you continue developing increasing clarity, you’ll become aware of a variety of ways that you can get what you want. Money Making Question of the Day: What would I do differently if I really knew that the life I desire is even closer than I thought it was?
I Ching Card of the Day
#26 Ta Ch'u / The Taming Power of the Great
THE TAMING POWER OF THE GREAT. Perseverance furthers. Not eating at home brings good fortune. It furthers one to cross the great water. To hold firmly to great creative powers and store them up, as set forth in this hexagram, there is need of a strong, clear-headed man who is honored by the ruler. The trigram Ch'ein points to strong creative power; Kên indicates firmness and truth. Both point to light and clarity and to the daily renewal of character. Only through such daily self-renewal can a man continue at the height of his powers. Force of habit helps to keep order in quiet times; but in periods when there is a great storing up of energy, everything depends on the power of the personality. However, since the worthy are honored, as in the case of the strong personality entrusted with leadership by the ruler, it is an advantage not to eat at home but rather to earn one's bread by entering upon public office. Such a man is in harmony with heaven; therefore even great and difficult undertakings, such as crossing the great water, succeed.

#34 Detach From Drama
Has your life gotten a little unpredictable lately? Has it taken a turn for the better or for the worse? Just when you think you have all your ducks in a row, has something upset the status quo and set things flying in new and unexpected directions?
Don’t let any of this disturb your equilibrium. Your soul is learning to go with life’s flow and rhythm, and an integral part of that movement is realizing that life unfolds in cycles-sometimes up, sometimes down.
Your soul’s purpose right now is to recognize, respect and then detach from these chains of events. Accept that you don’t have influence over them, but you do have control over how you respond. The more detached you are, the more peaceful your soul will be.
Your soul’s lesson: Redefine your ideas of success and failure. Respect that there are forces beyond your control (such as social issues, soul intentions and timing) that are part of your natural cycle, and which influence the outcome of things. Recognize that on a soul level, all experiences are part of a Divine order and bear gifts for your soul. True success occurs when you remove yourself from the drama and wishful thinking of life and recognize and accept the gifts at hand.
